When did I grow up? Sometimes through out my week something will happen that will make me realize that I'm not a little kid anymore. They aren't things like paying bills or buying toilet paper either. I still feel like that wild girl in high school but then something will happen and it will hit me that I'm all grown up and to be honest, I'm not sure I like it.
But for real-
- When did I start caring about Christmas cards? Getting them or sending them? All of the sudden I have a need to send out that yearly letter of joy telling people how awesome 2013 was.
- In bed by 9:30? I've become my mother.
- I bought a dryer...and I was excited about it. Whatever happened to doing laundry once a month and not caring if they actually got clean.
- I like grocery shopping, chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes just aren't doing it for me anymore. Have my taste buds finally matured?
- What did I ever see in the shows on MTV? and when did the Discovery channel get so interesting?
- I take the time to match my socks. I have nothing else to say on this subject.
- I make my bed in the morning, my responsible side it starting to show a little.
- A book of stamps? Yeah, that's on my grocery list now.
- Nap time is the most precious time of the day and a day without a nap to completely ruined with no possible way of saving.
I thought things like marrying my sweetheart and becoming a mother would be things that would make me feel like an adult but boy was I wrong. It really is the little thing apparently.
