We went to the doctor on Monday and he has this sweet ultrasound machine that shows your baby as an actual baby, Not a black and white smear across the screen. I think it's 3D.
We could actually see some of our little guys features and I am very pleased to say that our little guy is a spitting image of his Daddy! Including the dimple in the chin.
It was so neat to see this little person as a little person, knowing that in just a 9 short weeks this darling little baby is going to join our family and change our lives forever.
Seeing his cute little face made me fall in love with him even more than I already had.
He's weighing in at a whopping 3 pounds 11 ounces right now, has all of his body parts, and all of his organs are working perfectly.
He's also still a he...something I have been weirdly worried about.
Me on the other hand I'm not doing too good.
Ladies, when the doctor says don't lift anything heavy, DON'T!
I've torn a muscle in my stomach which is supposed to support my belly.
So unless you want to be in pain all the time with no way to relieve it, I would suggest listening to your doctor.
Other than that everything looked perfect!
I'm very healthy (which surprised me with the amount of cake and sweets I eat), and on track for a healthy delivery in May!
oh my gosh I gorged myself on cake with my pregnancy with Jackson....gorged I tell you, to the point of embarrassment. And it wasn't even chocolate cake (surprising!), it was that darn confetti cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. Needless to say, I don't feel quite the same way about that cake anymore :D You look great btw.
