Sunday

We love Sundays.
It's the only day that Daniel never works and we have no reason to do anything but relax and enjoy each others company. Since Lincoln was born they've been relaxing but they've also been kind of wild because he doesn't sit through church very well because it interrupts his nap time, play time, feeding time, etc. Well I don't know what was different about today but Lincoln was a dream at church. We didn't have to get up out of our meetings once and he took 2 naps in our arms. If you know my baby then you know that's a miracle. He loves his crib and that's about the only place he really sleeps.
It was wonderful.
And on top of this miraculous miracle the lesson in relief society was exactly what this girl needed to hear. For some reason I didn't want to go to church today. Mostly because I don't have friends in our ward so church can be kind of lonely for me sometimes. I told this to Daniel and on the way to church and he told me that I don't go to church for friends or to make friends I go to church for myself. Well I am really glad I listened to Daniel because I heard exactly what I needed to hear. It was like the woman teaching the lesson prepared with me in mind.
After we got home and ate dinner we decided to go for a walk.
I love evening walks. Especially now since we got the front pack for Lincoln. He sleeps through the whole thing.
Like I've said before, he's a dream baby.
Anyway my point of this post is, I'm grateful for Sundays. Without them I know I would have a terrible week.
And the week would start on Monday and no one likes Mondays.
