Welch family fun

This is the first Saturday Daniel and I have been in town for since June.
Life has been pretty wild with vacation and work and today we took full advantage of it. Daniel and I love hiking. Since we got married we have spent our Saturdays hiking or going on some sort of adventure.
Well today we decided to go up to one of the many National Parks around here and take a hike in Kolob Canyon. It was beautiful!
We couldn't believe that there was this much green in the land of red rock that we live in.
I could have gone without seeing the poisonous snake but we all survived.
It started out not so hot and kind of overcast so we thought it was going to be a pretty easy going hike. Well we were wrong and by the end our blood was boiling because it was so hot.
I had back sweat. Gross, I know and usually that's not something I would ever own up to but it was that hot!
Lincoln was the star of the show for everyone we passed. I didn't know it wasn't normal to hike with a 4 month old baby so we received lots of praise for taking our baby out this young.
We ended the hike with a big breakdown from our little guy and a little heat exhaustion from my mom but otherwise we had a great day.
