6 months

6 Months old! I cannot believe how old this little boy is! I seriously have a hard time believing that Lincoln is half a year old. We have had the best month with this little boy. First of all Lincoln is gigantic! I had to just buy 12 month clothes and in Carters he wear 18 months. Is this a normal problem I'm facing or is my baby just humongous? He is so happy all the time and I am so grateful. His smile seriously lights up my whole day. He sits all on his own. Except in the bath tub. His but is too slippery and he just slides onto his back. He rolls from one end of the room to another. Baby proofing here we come. As of about 4 days ago he can get up on his knees! He isn't crawling yet he just rocks but he tries to move an arm or a leg and he face plants. So it won't be long before he's cruising. I'm not sure I'm ready for that one. Lincoln's splashes in the tub have made it to a whole other level. You aren't safe being in the bathroom with him unless you're okay being splashed. We're still fighting the battle of the solid foods. One day he eats a bunch of solids and the next it's like we're trying to poison him. We'll hopefully figure that out in this next month. I'm not sure where my perfect little sleeper went. He is pretty consistently waking up somewhere between 4:30 and 6:00. I can't complain too much because he still sleeps quite a bit but I really liked my 12 hours in a row. I'm praying that at his next well baby check up he isn't over 22 pounds. I'm not ready to buy his next car seat yet. We make farting noises around him all the time because he reacts so funny to them and he has started to make them back. I'm not sure if this is funny or if I have created a mannerless monster. Either way I laugh my head off every time he does it. This month has been the best, I seriously have the best baby.
