7 Months

Well I don't even know where to start. This month has been crazy. First of all Lincoln learned how to CRAWL! This was really excited for about 10 seconds then I realized that our house is a baby death trap. He can find a power cord any where in the house. he's gotten quick too. Once he sees something he wants there is nothing stopping him. Our little Lincoln also got his first tooth! He let us know how uncomfortable he was for the few days before that little tooth came in. I have never been more grateful for baby Tylenol. Lincoln is about the size of a toddler. He wears 18 month clothes. People are shocked when I them that he's only 7 months old. At his last appointment Lincoln was 20 Pounds. I know I say this every month but he is seriously just so huge. He has learned to wave. His favorite thing is to wave at the Christmas tree. Every once in a while he'll give you a high five. We're still working on that one. We haven't had any improvements on sleeping through the night again yet. I really hope we figure that one out soon. He has learned to hold his own bottle and now he wants to hold it all the time and fusses when he can't. We have resorted to swaddling him again or else he just plays with the bottle instead of drinks. He loves to eat mashed potatoes, oranges, and ice cream. He's not a huge fan of baby food and if there is anything distracting going on then he won't eat at all. This month has made me realize how quickly this little man is growing. Everyday I see my little Lincoln and it's like a whole new baby. It has really made me slow down and take advantage of every minute I get with him because in the end I only get one year with him as a baby and that year is already over half way over.
