We have made it through another month! My wild Lincoln is seriously so smart! This month he learned how to clap, use his sippy cup (that's been a huge struggle for months), and play peek-a-boo. He also learned how to use a straw on monday! That was both exciting and frustrating because now he wants a drink of everything I have and he leaves a little backwash behind him every single time. He has started to stand on his own a bit longer but not much change there. I think he's kind of a scardy cat ad doesn't want to chance falling. We can get him to walk when we hold his hands but he knows he can get places faster if he crawls so that's his preferred form of travel. He loves dogs and every time he sees one he freaks out and then month we discovered that the same goes for horses. We were on a walk the other day and a horse was on the edge of the trail and stuck his face right in Lincoln's, I expected him to scream and freak out but he loved it! I can't wait to actually put him on one. He lets us know exactly what he wants because he will point at it and say "that". It's really demanding but kind of cute, I hope it's still cute when he's doing that later. He got his first haircut this month as well! He was looking like he had a backwoods hillbilly mullet so it was definitely needed but it was so sad! I couldn't run my fingers through his hair anymore which broke my heart a little. He looks like a handsome young man now, so it makes up for it. I hope this next month goes by really slow because i'm not ready for my little boy to be a one year old!
