I wrote a post for 30 weeks and then totally missed posting it. I did the same thing for week 31 and 32 but finally I'm getting around to posting one now that i'm 33 weeks. I only have 7 weeks left until we get to meet this sweet girl! Thankfully this half of the pregnancy has flown by and I think that's due to the fact that we've been traveling so much, which I'm so grateful for. I am so blessed with a body that can carry babies but I seriously am so done being pregnant. We had an ultrasound late last week and thanks to how wonderful technology is now we were able to see that our sweet girl has her daddy's chin. That's 2 for Daniel and 0 for me. We also found out that she's measuring about a week and a half early so I'm praying that she comes early {back to not wanting to be pregnant anymore}.
How far along: 33 weeks.
Size of baby: She's about the size of a pineapple. We went to the doctor last week and he said she is weighing about 4 pounds right now.
Sleep: What's sleep? Between a teething 11 months old and this little girl constantly beating up my insides I don't sleep very much. She seems to only really move in the evenings and at night which keeps me up ALL NIGHT LONG!
Cravings: Well I just want a lot of sugar all the time and in no specific form. I'll take a brownie, a cookies, or a cake, maybe even a milkshake, but I'm also not opposed to natural sugars like fruit but desserts usually wins on this one.
Baby movement: This little girl moves all night but it's so different than the way Lincoln wiggled. Her movements are smaller but there are way more of them than there were last time. I still get a swift kick to the bladder which reminds me that I'm still growing a human that has no place to wiggle but it's much easier with her smaller movements.
Challenges this week: I can't bend over! We've been flying a lot the last couple weeks and it was so hard to deal with Lincoln, our carry ons, and this giant belly. Then we added moving on top of that...unless I can do a weird squat to pick it up i'm basically useless.
Best moment this week: This entire pregnancy I have felt HUGE. I think it's because my body has changed so much faster this time and that's really taken a huge blow at my self esteem and body image but when I was back in my hometown everyone told me how small I looked and how cute I was pregnant. It might have been pity compliments but either way, it was a huge ego boost.
