I promise you won't be able to eat just one

I'm just going to go ahead and give you something that Daniel tried really hard to convince me not to share. Something this good needs to be shared though. I have found the holy grail of cookie recipes. I'm not joking. Since stumbling upon this recipe I have made it just about twice a week, and then ate over half the batch by myself. It's not helping me lose my baby weight but seriously, once you taste one you won't be able to stop. It's not the fanciest cookie but it's definitely the easiest. I follow the recipe exactly. Even the amount of time they bake in the oven.

Your Welcome.

// INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar (I've used dark & light brown sugar but prefer light. If you use dark brown sugar, the flavor will be more rich & molasses-y.)
1 egg, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 3.4 oz. package of vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 & 1/8 cup flour
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini m&m's

// METHOD
Preheat oven to 350 F.

Cream softened butter, sugar & brown sugar. Add egg & vanilla. Blend. Add pudding, baking soda & salt. Mix until combined. Gradually mix in flour. (Do not exceed 1 & 1/8 cup of flour.) Fold in chocolate chips & m&m's.

Place 1-2 tablespoon sized dough balls on parchment paper or baking mat. Bake for 8 minutes.
